How a hero from 10,000 B.C. used THIS to overcome obstacles and achieve his dreams…

What if you had something worth fighting for?

I recently saw the movie 10,000 B.C.  It’s the story of a young hunter who embarks on a journey to save his tribe.  He travels into unchartered territory, inspires alliances from newly discovered tribes and faces adversity in the foreign desert terrain, carnivorous dinosaurs and dangerous enslavers.

Watch the 2:09 min trailer and read the rest of the story…

How was our hero able to persevere through ambiguity, fear of the unknown and seemingly insurmountable odds?

Because he had a compelling reason “why to” succeed.

Throughout the film, there were many instances where our hero did not know “how to” proceed     ”how to” proceed.  For many people, not knowing how to achieve what they want often stops them in their tracks.

In the case of our hero, the  “why to” versus “why not to” tipped the scales in favor of action toward what he wanted.  Through strength of character, creativity and ideas from others he trusted, our hero succeeded in determining the path he must take to save his tribe and the woman his loves.

Take a moment to think about something that you’ve wanted for yourself that you didn’t quite know how to get.  Are you clear about why achieve this is important to you?  Do you understand your compelling reason why?

If you’ve ever considered starting a business, growing a business, changing careers or climbing the corporate ladder, what would it take for you to get started on charting your path to create the livelihood, lifestyle and legacy of your choice right now?
