It’s Superbowl Sunday in the United States!

The Super Bowl – the biggest football game America’s professional football players strive to play.

For the players and the fans, a lot is riding on the outcome.

Will the undefeated New England Patriots break the perfect season record held by the 1972 Miami Dolphins?

Or will the New York Giants upset die-hard New Englanders with the championship win?

On Big Game Day, I wonder, “What’s the biggest game you’ve ever played in your life?”

At different stages in my life the answer would have been different….

The biggest game could have been a number of the following:

  • Making an impact on the youth I worked with early in my career
  • Applying, getting accepted and graduating from MIT
  • Starting a business…then the next one…
  • Navigating the corporate maze (the stories one could tell…)
  • Climbing the corporate ladder

The truth is that the biggest game, I’ve ever played has been running for decades.

It’s the game of Life.

Here’s the premise: “How do you create the livelihood, lifestyle and legacy of your choice RIGHT NOW?”

The underlying assumption is

(a) you can create what you desire
(b) what you want is possible and
(c) it’s your choice to remain where you are or move on.

What’s the biggest game you’ve ever played? What’s at stake?
